Service Time & Location

Our Sunday Worship Service is held every Sunday at 9:00am at the historic First Parish Dorchester at 10 Parish Street in Dorchester.

Getting Here & Parking

The church is easily accessible by car, public transit, and walking. We are about a half mile from the Fields Corner T Station, and close to several bus stops. There is plentiful street parking around the building, and the first floor is handicap accessible. You can enter the church through the main doors along Winter Street (brings you in the back of the sanctuary) or the side door with the stairs and ramp along Parish Street (brings you in the hallway and front of the sanctuary).

What To Expect

Christ the King is a diverse, cross-cultural church. Whoever you are, you are assured a warm welcome. Each week our service includes the singing of a blend of hymns, gospel, and contemporary worship songs. We have a time of prayer, a sermon, a confession of sin, and we celebrate communion every week.

What to Wear

There is no dress code at our service. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. We accept people as they are. There is no need to dress up unless that is how you feel most comfortable worshipping.

For Children & Youth

We view children not only as an immense blessing but also as integral members of our church community. During the sermon portion of the worship service, we offer Children's Church for younger children every week (2 years old to 2nd Grade), and for our older elementary (3rd to 5th Grades) every other week. At this time, we are not offering Nursery for children under age 2, but there is room at the back of the sanctuary for parents to walk, calm, or sit with little ones as needed.

We have a Youth Group for young people in 6th to 12th grades that meets regularly about two Fridays a month, plus special events throughout the year. For any further questions regarding our children, youth, and family ministries please contact Keith Riddle.
